As an experienced Audio-Video (AV) Sales Executive with 4-5 years of experience, you will be responsible for driving the sales of advanced AV solutions to clients, building on your expertise to offer customized solutions that address the specific needs of businesses, organizations, and institutions. With a deep understanding of AV technologies, you will play a key role in increasing the company’s market share and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Lead Generation:
  • Build and manage a portfolio of clients, including businesses, educational institutions, and corporate accounts.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of the AV industry to identify key prospects and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Qualify leads, assess customer needs, and develop proposals that demonstrate the value of AV products and services.
  • Advanced Product Knowledge & Consultation:
  • Utilize your deep knowledge of AV systems (e.g., audio systems, video walls, projectors, video conferencing solutions) to provide tailored recommendations to clients.
  • Offer consultations on system integration, technology upgrades, and the best AV configurations for various environments (e.g., conference rooms, auditoriums, command centers).
  • Stay current on emerging AV technologies, ensuring you offer clients cutting-edge solutions.
  • Relationship Building & Customer Management:
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up with existing clients to ensure successful product implementation and drive repeat business.
  • Address customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Negotiation & Closing:
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and contracts, ensuring deals are closed in line with company goals.
  • Close deals with a focus on exceeding monthly/quarterly sales targets while maintaining profitability.
  • Leverage past sales experience to handle objections and close complex deals.
  • Product Presentations & Demonstrations:
  • Conduct in-depth, high-level product presentations and demos to large clients, showcasing the full capabilities of AV solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure demonstrations are tailored to client specifications and industry needs.
  • Reporting & Strategy Development:
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, providing insights to management on customer trends, opportunities, and market conditions.
  • Regularly update the CRM system with client interactions, sales progress, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales management on strategy development for increasing sales and growing market share.
  • Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:
  • Work alongside marketing and technical teams to create customized solutions that align with customer requirements.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and industry events to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Assist the technical team in ensuring successful system installations and troubleshooting when needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the AV or related technology industries.
  • Expert Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of a wide range of AV solutions (audio, video, conference systems, integration, etc.) and their applications in different industries.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong focus on B2B sales.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to deliver high-level presentations and articulate complex technical details in a clear, engaging manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Client Relationship Management: Expertise in managing long-term relationships with high-value clients, maintaining trust and satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Closing Skills: Skilled in handling complex negotiations and closing deals efficiently.
  • CRM & MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, and advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with AV system design, installation processes, and troubleshooting.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
